What does “IT” stand for?
“IT” stands for “Information Technology.” This is a term defined by the Information Technology Association of America as the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems. Basically, “IT” refers to anything related to computing technology, such as networking, hardware, software, the Internet, or the people that work with these technologies. Since we live in the “information age," information technology has become a part of our everyday lives.
